Threshold

This felt to be a seminal collection. Having  finally secured a city centre building, I created 10 very large paintings (5ft sq). to showcase within the building before the renovation began. The work was heavily influence by the words of John O'Donoghue and was utterly optimistic including titles like 'Wonderland'. After years of lockdown and uncertain and confined studio spaces, a brilliant wave of optimism got into the work lending itself to larger, brighter work -  power-full paintings. I loved making them.
