‘Chugam’ - 2020

A second covid collection. Chugam  the Irish word roughly translates at 'to me'. Much of these paintings were made during lock down and it was as if I was willing or invoking the sensations of the sea to me. The latter part of the collection was completed once restrictions had been lifted and I could once again visit the coast line. Some of these paintings then recall wonderful walks with friends once we had been reconciled and were free to walks the landscape and shorelines together.
