Begin to Hope - 2022
At the end of covid a spirit of tentative optimism got into my work. I felt a bit 'bambi-ish' gingerly teetering out into landscape again - as if we could all be sent to our rooms again. 'Heatwave' recalls the gloriously hot Summer while 'The Fertile Void' and 'The Tender Places' recount the absolute balm of being out in the natural world again.
