Land of Plenty
Following on from the Success of Ballads to the Bog (2010) I returned to the Ciarraí gaeltacht to create this collection. Ireland, at that time, was still recovering from economic collapse and I wanted to draw attention to the abundance surrounding us in our magnificent un-spolled landscape. I loved that the bogs are a living, breathing, regenerative thing so they featured heavily in this collection.
