My very first painting created in my new studio on Douglas Street. 

'A Turn for Home' feels timely. Like the culmination of over 20 years of my practice, getting to grips with materials, developing my own visual language while scaling up to this sweet spot.

It's been wonderful to live with this one as it has developed over many layers. It been great company and feels a strangely romantic painting - a coming of age but also a happy ever after.
